The unit out by the ramada had quietly stopped producing and we noticed the night guests arrived. Drain pump dead, bin sensor gummed up. New pump, bin scrubbed out, running again. Took two visits to finish.
Kamal J. · North Central Phoenix
We have a matched pair of columns in a 1940s house off Central. After a brownout the refrigerator half stopped holding. The control had dropped its programming, not died. He reset it and stayed for the pull-down.
Terese K. · North Central Phoenix
Ten days without ice and every reset I tried did nothing. He checked the water supply first, ruled it out, and found the clear-ice module seized. New module, and the bin filled overnight.

Questions we get asked first
What does the $89 service call cover?
The visit itself and a full diagnosis — gauges on the sealed system where that is the question, meter readings on the electrical side, and a written price for the repair before anything is opened up. It is credited in full against an approved repair.
Does Phoenix heat actually shorten the life of a built-in?
Ambient temperature is the load a condenser has to reject heat against, so a unit in a garage, a butler pantry or a covered patio works far harder in July than the same unit in a conditioned kitchen. It rarely causes a failure on its own; it turns a marginal condenser, a tired fan or a slightly low charge into a warm cabinet.
Can I clean the condenser myself?
Yes, and in dust-storm season it is worth doing every couple of months. The grille at the top or bottom of the unit comes off by hand or with a driver; a vacuum brush along the fins, working with the direction of the fins rather than across them, is enough. Stop if you meet copper lines or wiring.
Do you work on panel-ready and integrated columns?
Yes — built-in, integrated and undercounter refrigeration is the whole of what this business does. Panel-ready installations that have to come out of cabinetry and go back without marking a stile are a normal part of the week rather than an exception.
Our ice is cloudy and welded together. Is the machine failing?
Usually not. Local water is hard, and scale on the mould plus a filter that has been in place too long produce exactly that: slow harvests, chalky cubes and clumping in the bin. Descaling, a filter and often an inlet valve deal with most of it, and the module itself is one of the more reliable parts of the machine.
How quickly can someone come out?
The phone is answered around the clock and visits run 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, seven days. When you call we will tell you the next open slot on the Phoenix route rather than a window we cannot keep — and if the cabinet is warm with food in it, say so, because that changes the order of the day.
